Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. After having lived with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor-Joy explained the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to pursue a degree in English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. At 16, she left school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor started at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person who hired her to be model for professional models.
