Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th, 1967) is an American actress and singer. She made her acting debut as a teenager. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her siblings include three. As a child, Wuhrer sang at clubs and went out to perform. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School at 13 years old, she pursued a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under renowned Uta Hagen. Her birth date was April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 on the 28th of April in Brookfield Connecticut. Kari is the daughter of the father of a German American as well as a mother from Germany. Kari has three brothers and sisters. As teenager, she would perform in clubs by going away from home. Kari started studying acting when she was just 13 years old. Then she studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, together with Uta Hagen, who is a well-known instructor. Kari was introduced to acting at the age of 13, and she got her first big break in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
