Charissa Thompson
Thompson moved on from FOX Sports in the year 2010 and did double duty as a host for both Versus and Yahoo Sports. Thompson hosted Versus' NHL coverage in the studio as well as produced Web-based videos for Yahoo's popular platform. Thompson was in charge of the website's presence at the most prestigious sports events like events like the 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Her success in both sports led to her joining ESPN on August 11, 2011 where she was named one of the hosts on the new show for the afternoon "Numbers Never lie." In July 2012, she made the transition to the popular "SportsNation," enjoying a great run which lasted till she left ESPN to return to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May of 2013. A sports fan at heart, Thompson has also shown an impressive range of skills to cross over into the entertainment realm of television. After a few months of a number of part-time positions Thompson was named permanent co-host of the Hollywood evening news magazine "Extra". As a co-host filming on Universal Studios as well as staffed award shows and celebrity events regularly.
